About Us
Palm Beach Community Church is a place where people experience the love of Christ and it compels them to live an authentic life of faith. Many who gave up on church because of a bad experience return to find genuine acceptance rather than judgement.
It is a place where biblical teaching is relevant to life and worship stems from a deep gratitude and passion to know and love God. Groups of people meet in their homes during the week to study the Bible and find ways to serve others. People are challenged and inspired to grow through their pain, doubts, hangups, and triumphs.
It is a place where families find encouragement and support that equips them for the storms of life. Marriages are strengthened, and the divorce rate in Palm Beach County begins to decline.
It is a place where the doors stay open for community enriching events all week long, not just on Sundays. Resources and facilities are shared for the good of the community and people work hand in hand with local non-profits to meet real needs in our city and in our world.
It is a place where respect and cooperation is fostered among community leaders, walls of negativity crumble, and locals begin to speak of church as a life-restoring necessity in this town.
New leaders rise up committed to honor God with their skills and gifts. Creativity thrives. Writers and musicians gather to create new worship songs, painters paint, actors act, and dancers dance.
We work together, pray together, laugh together, worship together, eat together, struggle together, and celebrate together the joy of an unselfish life as we live in the hope of Christ.
This is our vision. I hope it inspires you to love and be a part of what God is doing in the local church.
Looking forward,
Dr. Raymond Underwood

Mission
Inspire people to actively love Christ and their community.
Values
“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?” Jesus replied, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. ‘This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the law and the prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:36-40
At Palm Beach Community Church we value:
Loving God
Worship: Joining together in worship as a community is our response of gratitude to God and an important part of the intimate relationship He pursues with us.
Christ-likeness: We want to be more like Christ, supporting and challenging each other through Biblical teaching, life in small groups, and personal spiritual development.
Service: Because of the love and grace God has shown us, we willingly serve each other, our community, and the world.
Loving your neighbor
People: All people, believers and non-believers, matter to God and they matter to us. We strive to be servant-hearted people who reach out to our community and point people to Christ.
Authenticity: Our goal is to live and worship together in a community of openness, honesty, and integrity.
Developing Strong Families: Our families are the most important things in our lives next to God. We believe in helping each other develop strong families that are God-centered, healthy, and able to withstand the storms of life.
Our Beliefs
About the Scriptures: We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God and that men were moved by the Spirit of God to write the very words of Scripture. Therefore, we believe the Bible is without error.
About God: We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the second member of the Trinity (the Son of God) who became flesh to reveal God to man and to become the Savior of the lost world.
About Mankind: We believe that mankind was created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him but became alienated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, man is incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through his own effort alone.
About Salvation: We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, salvation occurs only when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin.
About the Christian Life: We believe that every Christian should live for Christ and not for himself. By obedience to the Word of God and daily yielding to the Spirit of God, every believer should mature and be conformed to the image of Christ.
About the Church: We believe that the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The members of the church are those who have trusted by faith the finished work of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving Him and by making Him known to the world.
